Dr. Islam completed his medical degree in Bangladesh. He then migrated to the other side of the globe to the US and joined Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Huzel completed her BSc(Medicine) and MD degrees in addition to residencies in Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Randy Wax is an Associate Professor in the Department of Critical Care Medicine.
Stephanie Sibley is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Daren Heyland is a Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario Canada. He is trained in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Clinical Epidemiology.
Dr. Paul Heffernan, MD, MSc, FRCPC, FCCP, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University and serves as the Program Director for the Adult Critical Care Medicine (CCM) training program.
I completed my undergraduate medical training in Ireland and postgraduate specialization in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine in the United Kingdom.
