Dr. James Ahlin is an emergency physician and intensivist at Kingston Health Sciences Centre.
Dr. Ahlin completed medical school at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. He went on to complete emergency medicine training at Queen’s followed by a critical care medicine fellowship. Subsequently he pursued additional training in point of care/acute care ultrasound.
Dr. Ahlin is also interested in medical education, and completed a Master of Science in Clinical Education through the University of Edinburgh. He is interested in curriculum design especially when it comes to POCUS and all things ultrasound.
Outside of the hospital he enjoys getting outside, climbing some rocks, or exploring some trails.
