Dr. Soliman completed his medical school at the University of Ottawa. He then went on to complete his training in internal medicine at the same university and his critical care fellowship at the University of Toronto. Currently, he serves as the chief and medical director of the Lakeridge Health Critical Care Department, which serves three hospital sites. Dr. Soliman is passionate about quality improvement, sepsis, education, transfusion medicine, and organ donation.
Over a decade, he has worked with Trillium Gift of Life, promoting organ and tissue donation culture and setting provincial and national policy and guidelines. His current research interests lie within the fields of sepsis, education, and organ donation.
