Faculty Biography

Dr. Suzanne Bridge completed her undergraduate medical training and general internal medicine residency at the University of Toronto. She went on to complete a Critical Care Fellowship at Stanford University in 2011. She has her FRCPC as well as US board certification in both critical care and internal medicine and is jointly appointed to those departments currently at Queen's University / KHSC-KGH.

Prior to moving to Kingston in 2014 she worked as a community internist and intensivist at the Lakeridge Health Organization in Oshawa. She maintained academic appointments as a Lecturer at the University of Toronto and Assistant Professor at Queen's University. At Lakeridge Health she held the position of Education Lead for the newly developed critical care rotation and since moving to Kingston, she has maintained an interest in medical education. Her academic focus/interests include simulation and point of care ultrasound.  She has recently been appointed Program Director for the Critical Care fellowship program. She also holds the role of CBME Lead (competency based medical education) to support and facilitate the program's transition to this new style of medical education.
